Does anyone know how to publish an audio file on Blogger? Not a Youtube, but a file from my collection?

What I used to do is open Windows Movie Maker and place the audio there and just add a picture that extends the entire audio. So it will basically be an audio file that's a movie. For instance, I had great audio of coyotes in back of the house, so I just extended a picture of our house (in Movie Maker) to the same point where the audio ended and tada.
I've seen other bloggers do it and I have no clue why Blogspot makes it something that isn't easy, but I've yet to find it easy to post one of fb either.
What's up with that? It's a stinkin' wav file, why should that be a deeply held secret? I'll bet we can find the answer on Wikileaks. Oh wait. Nm.
I think the issue is the player. The only way I've ever done it was to use an audio sharing site and embed their player.
