Deep Thoughts for a Sunday

Since a drunk Dallas Cowboy wrecked yesterday and killed another Dallas Cowboy  I suspect we will get a diatribe today from Bob Costas seeking to bring back prohibition.

I have never understood the thinking that just because someone is on tv or in the movies their thoughts are something of value. Costas is a crappy announcer at best and the crowd of idiots from Hollywood make a living pretending to be someone else. Then again you can't fix stupid not even with duct tape.

A few years ago, a drunk white NFL player flipped his car and killed his drunk white NFL playing friend. He was so overcome with grief that he got his gun out of his wrecked car and blew out his brains at the accident scene on the overpass.

You'd think an event like that would cause a fit of comments from the liberal press and have Costas making his comments on Oprah with The View hags on split screen simulcast nodding their heads around their table.

But it didn't. It was regretted and mourned, then quickly forgotten. Why?

Liberal mindset: White guys are responsible for their actions while blacks are pets of the white majority, so when blacks shoot, it's the gun's fault, when they have crappy neighborhoods full of generational disfunction, it's whitey's fault, the same as it's a pet owner's fault when he leaves a candy kiss out for his "doesn't know better" dog to scarf off the counter and get sick from. Liberals are the pet owners, and see the feeding and caring of their "colored pet" as their job in life.

I don't know what has been worse for the blacks; outright oppression from segregationists, or this patronizing pet keeping from the liberal left.

Cue Kanye West to say this car wreck happened because George Bush hates black people in 5...4...3...2...1...
