Me and Brian Williams Episode 8

It was hot in the blazing Cuban sun. The bullets peppering down from the Spanish positions only added to the heat of the situation. "Teddy", said Brian Williams, "We can't stay here. We have to charge up that hill.  Follow me"

Colonel Roosevelt, inspired by the bravery of the intrepid reporter, rallied his men with a hoarse shout of "Charge! Let's go you Rough Riders"...

I remember turning around and seeing Brian manning a machine gun during the mass attack in Viet-Nam at Dak-To. He didn't even bother to take off his tie, later he was the lead firefighter putting out the burning C-130's on the airstrip, didn't even bother putting on protective equipment as he waded deep into the burning fire.

Weren't Brian Williams and Forrest Gump table tennis partners on that trip to China?

I think Brian also had a hand in helping Woody Allen write the screenplay for Zelig.
