There are letters and words and punctuation -- it counts as a post

I wasn't going to post anything today. I'm just not feeling it. What do you care about my weather for the weekend (gorgeous)? I know you don't care that I'm off to a graduation reception this evening. In fact, I'm not sure why you care about anything I scribble around here. Heck, it is increasingly obvious I don't care what I write. Or that I write. I'm on pace to cobble together 300 posts this year. That is way down from my normal pace. I acknowledge the quantity and quality are both reduced. Not that quality writing was ever a key component of the efforts here anyway.

Blogging died years ago. I am just riding the zombie corpse.

Riding the zombie corpse would be an excellent band name.

Blogging is not dead.
Being obligated to blog daily is.
