But then again I'm not a very strong woman who can think for myself like Anon says in Outraged against Rush comments below.

What was I thinking?

I should just let those more enlightened and tolerant people discuss issues.

Sorry Joe. I'll probably go cry in the corner because I realize I can't deal with discussing political issues with "those" heavyweights.Ritahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03121530659338322937noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11628754.post-5093207871983136332012-03-14T20:27:26.473-04:002012-03-14T20:27:26.473-04:00Rita, you are getting facts mixed up with perfectl...Rita, you are getting facts mixed up with perfectly good leftist propagana.CnChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14697018842346746668noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11628754.post-23103326696677420412012-03-14T18:02:30.487-04:002012-03-14T18:02:30.487-04:00Or she could just pay for the contraception out of...Or she could just pay for the contraception out of her pocket for less than $300 per year.

I didn't pull that number out of the air, I priced it at a Walgreens less than 2 miles from Georgetown.Ritahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03121530659338322937noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11628754.post-32793971639727731942012-03-14T14:02:22.383-04:002012-03-14T14:02:22.383-04:00One of the crazier parts is that this isn't ev...One of the crazier parts is that this isn't even an employer/employee benefit.

The school requires students have medical insurance and the plan they offer themselves doesn't cover contraceptives, but she could have secured her own policy that did.

The cost of the insurance offered by the university was $1,895. Not much room for $3,000 worth of contraceptives there. Even if someone managed to pay that much for contraceptives to begin with.

I bet if she bought a plan that cost $4,900 she would get her contraceptives covered.Woodmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17258502914515356626noreply@blogger.com
