You can only say that the Colts defense is real. Apparently the offense can put up big numbers when needed.
They were rocked on their heels early, but like a true heavyweight they survived the challenger's best punches in round one and came back to knock out the Rams.
Houston is next, a team giving up record numbers of sacks of poor David Carr. Think the Colts might get a half dozen more next week?
I think the Colts are the team to beat. They have the best coach and the best quarterback. Both are not only the best at what they do, they are also class acts. I miss Dungy here in the tampa bay area. The Bucs are resting their laurals on a team that Tony built. If they get into the playoffs this year-which they should-it is because of Dungy. Gruden is a hell of an offensive coordinator but it takes the cool and calm head of a Dungy to consitantly have a good team.
ReplyDeleteHB, I was sweating bullets til the turn-around.
ReplyDeleteWhen the Rams ran up 17 in the first quarter, I just about thought it was all over. This is encouraging for the playoffs. If everyone stays healthy and they don't revert to form,
this just might be our year to shine!
