Remember The Obama promising all but the wealthy of us that not only would our taxes NOT increase, but we would see a middle class tax cut? When I claimed otherwise old liberal commenter Sammy went into hysterics telling us repeatedly that Obama was not ever going to raise taxes?

During his presidential campaign, Obama repeatedly pledged "you will not see any of your taxes increase one single dime."

I bet the liberal bloggers will be in a chorus of condemnation as the the true liberal savior goes back on his promise.

Geithner said the White House was not ready to rule out a tax hike to reduce the federal deficit; Summers said Obama's proposed health care overhaul needs funding from somewhere.

"There is a lot that can happen over time," Summers said, adding that the administration believes "it is never a good idea to absolutely rule things out, no matter what."

When the Democrats passed the single largest spending bill in history -- the pork laden failure of a "stimulus bill" earlier this year many of us saw tax increases in our future.

"If we want an economy that's going to grow in the future, people have to understand we have to bring those deficits down. And it's going to be difficult, hard for us to do. And the path to that is through health care reform," Geithner said.

Let me understand that last quote, Geithner must be channelling Joe Biden. The only way we can reduce government spending is too add new Government spending? By the same logic I can reduce my credit card bill by purchasing some new Nike's. Anyone who buys into this idiocy is a moron. The Obamamessiah is an empty suit looking for direction.
