The Ides of March

Me and Julius were just talking, things seem quiet today.  Caeser thinks he will take a walk in the Forum with our buddy Brutus.

  1. Interesting how this murder has remained known in the West for 2000 years. Shakespeare helped, for sure. I wonder who else's assassination will be still known in 2000 years. Probably Franz Ferdinand, though his life isn't well known, his killing is remembered as the start of the war that began Europe's decline. Maybe Louis XVI, marking the beginning of the French Revolution, and Czar Nicholas' for the beginning of the Soviet Union. Short list, there. But we don't look at the calendar and go "Geez, it was today, wasn't it?"
