Seeing the live bands in Nashville reminded me of my youth when local bands could make a living playing in bars and dances. This band was a staple in my hometown and in Central Indiana back in the 1970's. Unfortunately, fame eluded them. Listen anyway, you just might like it.

Do you remember the Faith Band? I think Carl Storey still plays around Indy. At least he used to a few years back.

I had their Face to Face album. Loved every song on there. Never liked Put on Your Dancin Shoes, but that was their biggest(only?) hit.
ReplyDeletehah, some Roadmaster just came up on the old iPod this fine Sunday morning. I saw that local band about 100 times at various bars, concerts and fraternity parties.
ReplyDeleteDid any of you see/hear Cain, a heavy rock band from Minneapolis that toured colleges late 70s. Saw them twice at USI,(then ISUE). Their lead singer was sort of a cross between Jim Dandy and David Coverdale.Recently read their old vinyl goes for $$$. I need to get down to the basement to do a search.
