Most Americans display smugness and tacit smirk when discussing the bureaucratic corruption of the Third World. Perhaps we need to look a little more closely at our own federal, state and local bureaucracies. Of course, given this complaint is about the IRS, I should expect a little extra scrutiny in the coming weeks and months of my Federal Returns. After all, we know the Agency is not loath go after their political opponents.
