A federal version of the religious freedom law was enacted in 1993 but dozens of states have passed their own versions since then, including one passed unanimously in Illinois when President Barack Obama was a state senator. The gay community and the press are pushing an agenda that has not even happened. Its the same old thing, religion is evil, except of course being a Muslim.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances. People seem to forget about this little thing. that prohibiting the free exercise pretty much covers it.
Illinois RFRA law can't be decades old(emphasis on the s) if Barack Obama voted for it as an Illinois State Senator. He took office in 1997and law was passed in 1998. Even my limited math skills tell me 17 is not decades. Am I hair splitting? Why not, seems to all the rage in the UNmainstream media. The main reason for the uproar in Indiana and not in Illinois is because who is in power in Indiana.I can vouch firsthand on the vindictiveness of Mitch and his waterboy Tony Bennett and Mike and his supermajority(what an oxymoron for those morons).

That said, I still think it is a stupid law and will end up causing us more trouble than it's worth.
