I wonder

If talking on cell phones while driving is a dangerous distraction -- and it is -- then why do we allow dogs to jump around in the front seat and climb on and off tne driver's lap in a moving car?

    Because people are for the most part stupid and selfish. It's the " It will never happen to me attitude."

    Now, talking to a person in the car or listening to another person or the radio is also considered "distracted driving.
