Monday. Woke up early yet again. I am watching sunrise through the hanging leaves of the big willow, leaning back in my chair, feet propped on my desk. The coffee is good. The boy's dog snores gently in my recliner here in the office. The radio plays quietly on my Echo Dot.
It is going to be a hot one again today. It is summer. The weather does this every year. I'm on vacation today. We are taking my granddaughter to the zoo. I imagine we will see a lot of empty enclosures as the animals look out from their beds and wonder why the stupid humans are out walking around in the sun and heat.
