We moseyed down to the mall after supper last night. The baby grandgirl is getting baptized Sunday and the wife needs something suitable to wear.
Boy was I disgusted to see Macy's all decked out in Christmas decorations. It is not even Halloween! Has the entire fourth quarter become Christmas shopping season?
Since I'm all disgusted anyway, I will direct some of my ire towards LaBron James. Poor LaBron. A tweet from an NBA executive supporting the Hong Kong protesters angered the ChiComs. James has discovered he might lose some money on shoe sales or on his remake of the Space Jam movie. So, in a flurry of self-interest, James has castigated the pro-Hong Kong tweeter.
Of course LaBron has no problem trashing here at home. He was supportive of Kaepernick's protesting of America. James routinely criticizes the President. I guess for LaBron, free speech is great right up to the point it hits his wallet.
