Righteous Outrage

Apparently it is just too much to ask for the dooshbag politicians to put politics aside for a moment and do what is right for the American people.

Nancy and Chuck are far more interested in making sure Orange Man Bad doesn’t get any credit for an emergency economic relief plan and want a “Democrat Plan” put forth. In case you don’t believe me and blame my inherent bias against rat bastard commie mofos Democrats for putting the onus on rat bastard commie mofos Democrats, even the NY Times and NBC say Democrats torpedoed the relief package in the Senate last night. So screw them all.

The Federal, State, and local governments have put millions out of work. They have prevented us from earning a living. Now politics as usual is preventing relief. Spit.

All you in the service and retail industries need to remember this Democrat perfidy come November. Government workers are sitting home watching Judge Judy with full pay and benefits while you are trying to dig change from your couch cushions to buy black market potatoes, rice, and toilet paper.

The politicians are fighting over who gets credit.

I’m trying very hard not to blaspheme and swear these days. Well too bad, fuck ‘em all.

  1. Chill dude. The Republicans also stopped early votes on packages as well. Something will come thru. Stop freaking. They will hash it out. My understanding is Pelosi and Schumer are trying to make sure the big boys don't run off with the money and the little guys actually get something for them. They are pushing for more money to go to public and small busiNess and not to big corps who from previous balance sheets should have enough to survive thru the few months of turmoil. Guess the poor ceo will have to live on fewer millions. Boo hoo. It's coming stop buying into their hype.
I noticed you didn't say anything about the rand Paul amend mentioned they had to vote onow where he tied aid to stopping actions in Afghanistan etc...oh and he's not democrat or the 7 other senators Republican that voted against first two packages. Nope no bias on your part.

There will be money coming don't get your tidie whites in a knot.
Chill and take care of yourselves.
Don't be part of the political posturing as well.
Take care of yourself and your neighbors. The rest can be sorted out later.

  4. Tax credits for solar energy and wind energy. Provisions to force employers to give special new treatment to Big Labor. And listen to this — new emissions standards for the airlines.

    Federal funding for abortion

That’s what Democrats view as helping the American people

    Spit

  5. Better than stock buy backs, huge ceo pay and bonuses, with no money for workers. Don't let them panic you into handing them endless money bags. Money for the people not the corporations.

  6. Fuck you, anon. Go back to your dream world where socialism works.

Oh, that's right. Socialism never works. Not even in your dreams.

    Asshole.

    Sorry, Joe.

  7. Let’s look at Nancy’s version:

Voter registration changes, forcing corporate boards to have women and minority members, tax credits for wind energy. Federal payout for abortions.

    That helps displaced workers how?

One Democrat aide explained the no vote was because there is no bailout for non-profits then names PlannedParenthood specifically.

Meanwhile unemployment pushes 30 percent, and millions of service workers are broke, unemployed, and have no prospects.

But at least Democrats are not letting a crisis go to waste.

  8. Her bill, released Monday afternoon, provides that every state: A) shall permit a voter to designate any person to return a voted and sealed absentee ballot to the post office, a ballot drop-off location, tribally designated building, or election office so long as the person designated to return the ballot does not receive any form of compensation based on the number of ballots that the person has returned and no individual, group, or organization provides compensation on this basis; and (B) may not put any limit on how many voted and sealed absentee ballots any designated person can return to the post office, a ballot drop off location, tribally designated building, or election office.
In other words, party operatives can literally truck thousands and thousands of ballots to the polls, provided they earn a salary or fee, and not paid by the ballot.

  9. So what crap is in the Republican bill? Let's be equal in our exam of what Republicans have put forward as well. Starting with ron paul. Also how about you guys bitching about what politicians are doing the question is what are you doing? Also do you want to be like italy where they are cremated dead because funeral homes can't handle. 2000 dead in 4 days and one of Dr said that they are not allowing those over 60 no access to ventilators. So fuzzy are you going to kiss your ass goodbye. Feeling a little different about things now? But bitch about the restrictions. Oh by way they found corona virus on a cruise ship after emptied 17 days later. Touch that will you?

  11. SOP for the left. Economic distress, panic up then double dribble a shit ton of regulations and grifters and loafers into office, from which they never will emerge. Per 1933, per every minor downturn since then, per the Vietnam War, per Kent State, blah blah blah.

  13. Caused by HUD and mortgage policies enacted by the Ckinton administration. Get an economics and history lesson

  14. Democratic bill co-authored by Dodd and Frank. Their position was poor people deserve mortgages too. Of course they had credit ratings of 503 but they were positive that because pride of ownership they would for sure pay the mortgage if the banks just gave them a chance. Most poor buyers went for the big home not a starter and tripled their monthly outgo when they could barely make a $500 rent but took on a $1,200 mtg. and when asked they would assure us they had the money just not in the bank. We knew it was a disaster from the very beginning but the new "guidelines" required us to approve these pos loans. We knew what the end result was going to be but it was even worse they we could have imagined.

  15. Economic and history lesson was that it was a Republican congress. Glass segoal act was repealed by Republicans as well that mandated safety of banks to keep banking separated from investing ie derivatives. Get your own history course. Dodds frank act didn't create ninja loans. That was greed of bankers. Pure socialism doesn't work as well as pure capitalism doesnt work. Told you bill would get passed but you guys were ready to linch democrats because they didn't hand free money over to greed capitalist right that second. Stop knee jerk reactions and look at what is really being done.

  16. Woops. Spoke too soon. Seems bill hasn't passed in senate. And who is the hold up? Mccarthy and seven of his fellow cohorts. Democrats? No? Republicans. And what are they upset about? 600 dollar payments to unemployment benefits. Because why? Because that may be more than some of the workers make. The shame of rather than trying to create complex formulas they went for a set amount but the shame that they might give 50 bucks to some poor unemployed working stiff than he normally makes. 50 bucks that could be used for food, rent, car payment, medicine. Oh I guess let's hand out billions to big corporations who pay their management millions but throw a monkey wrench because God forbid we might give you unwashed masses 50 extra bucks. You talk about spitting. What you got to say now?

    ReplyDelete
  17. yes An extra 600 a week on top of regular unemployment is too much. Depending on your state, that means people could make as much as 50k a year. And yes, that is significantly more than many displaced workers currently earn.

As someone who has struggled mightily to survive on unemployment, for months, I would welcome a raise, but it is still too much.

How many will go back to their regular jobs if they are making nearly double what they made at their old job by sitting home?

  18. You do understand I’m under no obligation to present a fair or unbiased point of View? Unlike most in the mainstream media I don’t pretend to.

Feel free to start your own blog

  19. It passed the senate. It says a lot about you to think that most Americans would milk unemployment and that there wouldn't be normal unemployment safe guards that when the crisis was over people wouldn't go to work. Even if there were a few it doesn't justify stopping help to others. There were time limits on that unemployment also. Just like your unemployment now I'm sure. And I'm sure you aren't milking it so why such evil thoughts on others?
It seems sometimes, and one of the reasons I have soured on Republican policies is that they seem to spread this message that someone isn't doing their part, or they are lazy, or taking from you. And the pie is small and make sure someone isn't taking your piece. Don't let the other guy have anything. Yet I look at the people giving this message and find disgusting wealth and gluttony on their part. Rush Limbaugh scorns the poor but is loaded and abused drugs but we know his attitude to those on the street with issues. The list goes on and on. Maybe you should question the message these people put out. Why are you buying into their fear and hate. Best policies are ones that are not pure capitalism or pure socialism but a blend which is business with compassionism.
Oh and it is your blog, and you can be biased. But expect to be called out on it. That's what comments are for.
For the record the reason I do comment is occasionally I see glimmers of humanity and intelligence and are trying to preserve them and make sure you don't become buried in the muck that some of commentors seemed to have drowned it.

  20. Well 50K is a lot more than I can make at a temporary gig at big box. And yes, I would stay at home for a $400 raise per week. And I wouldn’t go back to work until that big payday ended unless it was for a bigger payday.

I think I have a strong work ethic, but I would take more money if someone offered, even if that meant sitting in my recliner and blogging all morning while getting unemployment.

Second. I am not a Republican I scorn all politicians as the scumbag opportunists they are. I think Republicans politicians in general are sleazeballs and Democrat politicians are sleazeballs and hypocrites in general.

Capitalism has increased the living standard of everyone in the world.

You are welcome to comment anytime. You are usually wrong, but that is your right.
