It is February 8th. It is time to unplug your Christmas lights. It’s cold, so you don’t have to take them down, but you can unplug those lights that are half burnt out. You can let the air out of the blow up Santa.
You can use the lights again next year. There is no requirement to leave them on until they burn out.
It’s okay.
Man, no joke. We still have three Die Hard people who are full of Christmas spirit who still are running their Christmas lights in our neighborhood. This didn't happen last year - I wonder why this is /
ReplyDeleteIt happens every year here. One house goes until April or May — whenever the lights finally burn out.
ReplyDeleteAlong a route I take there is a home that left the Halloween blowup decorations up, put some thanksgiving turkeys out followed by Santa and a snowman. All are on the ground deflated just laying there. No accounting for people.
ReplyDeleteYou recycled this from last year.
ReplyDeleteOr the year before.
Or the one before that.
I'm not sure which.
All of the above. It never stops
ReplyDeleteIt was a new post, same subject though

How did you know? The gold reindeer are sitting in the carport with baby on porch. We cannot get them taken apart and in a box. Well, we could if we wanted huge gold glitter all over us and the house.
