Pot meet kettle

I saw a campaign ad for Kamala Harris last evening. The spot  claimed “Donald Trump ended Rowe vs Wade.”

No matter your position on that particular contentious issue, that claim is an out and out bold faced untruth aimed at ignorant voters.

Yet the press repeatedly paints the Trump campaign as liars.

  2. They lie because they got nothing else. Their candidate is so weak and wishy/washy. Every live appearance is a disaster and she needs celebs to prop her up. I'll be glad when this is over.

  3. Pretty sure at least 98% of their ads are straight-up lies. If they didn't lie, they wouldn't be there.

If they weren't there... "What a wonderful would [that] would be": https://youtu.be/QqCPMnlvaMQ

Hang in there. We're almost there.

Just pray the country isn't burning down in a week. Children like to throw tantrums, as we know. And the current administration loves and encourages tantrums.

  4. The ad with the women who don't have to tell their husbands who they voted for...

How to be a Democrat: Lie to the people who love and trust you.

If they're fine with lying to the people they're supposed to love and trust, WHAT ARE THEY WILLING TO DO YOU?

    They lie like they breathe.

    1. Yeah, I’ve never been embarrassed by my vote and have never hidden it. I can’t imagine lying to my wife over something like that

    2. FWIW I asked Grok if Donald Trump claimed to have personally overturned Roe v. Wade. Bottom line, it is a gross over-simplification of what really happened. And at the same time, it's kind of true.

"Yes, Donald Trump has claimed credit for overturning Roe v. Wade. During a Fox News town hall in January 2024, he stated, "For 54 years they were trying to get Roe v. Wade terminated, and I did it." This claim refers to the Supreme Court's decision in June 2022 to overturn Roe v. Wade, a decision facilitated by the conservative justices he appointed to the Supreme Court—Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett—all of whom voted to overturn the precedent. While Trump's direct action was appointing these justices, his claim to have "terminated" Roe v. Wade simplifies his role to having made the overturning possible through his judicial appointments rather than by a direct legal or executive action."

I'm already voting for him, you don't have to sell him to me. ;)

  6. Abortion is the Democrats' way of trying to legally limit the populations of what THEY see as "undesirables".

    Disgusting.

    1. It was originally the way the Margaret Sanger-led eugenicist wing of the Democrat party came up with to kill off the Black community in the US.

  7. CNN[!] telling us her social media is deceptive?

    Wait, WHAT?!

    This can't be real.

  8. What's up with this? Are they trying to make us trust them now?

Never, CNN. Too little. WAY too late. We've been through 4 years of Hell thanks your lies and the sheep who buy them.

  9. Lone liberal and democrat here. If you look at Biden's record, he's actually done a pretty good job. It amazes and appalls me to see that there are so many hate-filled misogynists in America. Maybe there were always there, but we didn't see them. I still maintain that if you got Trump's resume as a blind resume, there's no way a company would hire him: convicted felon, never worked a real job, bankrupted several businesses, including a casino.
Believe me, no one is giving children sex-change operations in school. I work in a school, and we have to get parent permission to give a kid aspirin or Tylenol. Most schools are crammed to the gills and have no place to do operations even if they wanted to, which they don't.
Sorry for the long post; I'll end by saying that I have never hidden my vote from a spouse or anyone else who asks--even if they don't! :) :) I voted proudly for Harris and every Democrat on the ballot.

    1. Hi Jackie

I can only speak for myself but I don’t believe misogyny has anything to do with it. I think it was policy over personality.

I voted for at least seven women on my ballot.

What did Kamala stand for what were her policies? Most voters voted their wallets. Period.

We can agree to disagree if Biden did a good job. I think the election was a clear referendum on that.

I appreciate are always polite and respectful. Even if you are wrong😎
