If we are a net exporter of oil, we shouldn’t be victims of the global increase in oil prices.
The president needs to open the straight or bomb the heck out of Iran until they do.

ReplyDeleteThe question cannot be ducked. Are we okay with Iran developing or eventually developing a nuclear weapon? So that (a) they can use it. Or (b) so they can sell it to someone else who can use it?
ReplyDeleteI’ve no issue stopping Iran from getting nukes. I have an issue with half measures. Make life so painful for the regime they surrender unconditionally. That’s how we waged war until about 80 years ago.

It seems that the, "we" being spoken about is the United States. But, "we" were not the sole country that waged war against Germany, Italy, and Japan (list = 22). So it sounds like the attempt to make the same implication in the thinking, . . . is not linear.
ReplyDelete“We” were involved in many wars prior to WWII. See Sherman’s March, the various Indian Wars, or the Philippine Insurrection for reference. Linear or not linear, I leave that to you.
