Seriously, enough about the Boston Marathon already. I know some terrorists attacked the event last year. Do we really have to interview every person who has ever heard of Boston this year?
If they really wanted to honor the events of last year, they'd go on about their business as if nothing at all had happened. Maybe a moment of silence before the start...but that's it.
We used to be grown up about such things. We aren't anymore. Everything has to be full of emotion, and it's not a good thing.
I feel the same way about the 9/11 stuff. You are right, I never forget, but the week long rehash every year does nothing but give the terrorists the publicity they craved.

Every time this shit happens, the terrorists win.
