Why not? I actually saw the Go Gos in concert back in the early eighties. The Flock of Seagulls was the opening act. Here they are on American Bandstand.

My 16 year old sister in law was dancing in a "joint" as a go-go dancer in a cage at 16. That's what I remember of that era. Hope you had a wonderful even if quiet New Year eve. And here's to a Happy New Year.
