The Pope is all into the "we are all gonna die 'cause Globull Warming" these days. Strangely, he blames air conditioning. But if Earth is going to get all hot as the surface of Mercury in the next 10, 20,50,100 years, won't air conditioning be a good thing?

Pope’s became minor annoyance at best a hundred years ago. A bunch of old men get together and elect a Prom queen. Divine selection? Somehow I just don’t think so.

The crux of the issue is, if you think air conditioning is contributing to glowbull warmerongering, then you have it in your mind that less air conditioning == less power generation == less CO2 in the air == less globull warmerongering.
On the other hand, if you look at the science and the history, and understand that the Earth has been both somewhat warmer and MUCH colder than it is today, and that any warming taking place is natural and not human-aided, you agree with Joe's premise.
Me, I understand we're in the middle (and maybe at the end) of an interglacial, and that lately (geological time) the Earth has tended to be cold a lot more than it has tended to be warm. And I also understand that humans put a whole lot less crap in the air than Mother Nature does on her own. Except maybe for the Chinese, but they don't give a damn, they're Communists.
Anyway, off to cut the grass and put a ton of hydrocarbon exhaust in the air.
