Casey pizza and a Diet Coke with a splash of Dr. Pepper then to dentist to get temp crown replaced w/final version . They had to cut rather than pry temp off which required a numb shot. I think they overdosed me cuz 4 hours later I’m still dribbling diet smoke out of the numbed side!

She's back to work, loves it -- she got the prescription lens and doesn't need a contact in that eye now :) Basically it was an hour of prep for an 8-minute surgery.

Wife had a cataract removed today. She looks like a pirate, and the entire left side of her face is numb :)
They really have that process down these days. They did the cataract/ lense thing for me when I had my cornea transplants a decade ago
