Heeeeeers Obama

America meet your next President. He is a Marxist in every sense of the word. He is a believer in the redistribution of wealth. He believes in the adage of each to his abilities/each to his needs. He believes it is a tax 'cut' to take money from one citizen and give it to another. He has the weakest record of public service and administration of any candidate in recent history. He is a supporter of abortion at any time of the pregnancy, and even voted to allow the killing of a baby born alive after an attempted abortion. Even fervent supporters of 'choice' acknowledge the issues with second and third term abortions. He endorses a policy of cut and run, the method used by President Clinton in Somalia. Terrorist bin Laden said that policy is what led to the attacks on 9/11. For bin Laden, America does not have the stomach for a tough war. Your new President embodies this position. He is against drilling for domestic oil, instead he believes we will magically develop alternative energies. Be prepared for more wild gasoline price fluctuations. America, meet Barack Obama, your next President.

It did not have to be this way. The liberals were down on the canvas. The Conservatives refused to deliver the knockout blow. Instead they became a bloated soft mirror version of the competition. The concept of limited Government and fiscal responsibility flew by the wayside.

We chose a candidate that embodies all that was wrong with the two Bush Presidencies. Somehow the party fell back into control of the Country Club Republicans. The old adage is true, follow the money.

In last night's debate McCain had a chance to win and he blew it. Obama offered a clear vision of his socialist agenda with Joe the Plumber. McCain needed to pound away, to emphatically tell the American people the truth. "Senator Obama, your tax plan is straight from the book of Karl Marx. Your redistribution of wealth is more fit for the failing economies of Europe and the old Soviet Union. The American people are not interested in following an economic policy that has failed everywhere it has been tried." Repeat as necessary. McCain could not rise to the occasion. Instead McCain lamented there were not more debates. Wow, does McCain want to be defeated by Reagan-like margins? Because that is what would happen if there were more opportunities for Obama to kick his ass.

Here is a perfect analysis of what is wrong with the McCain, why Conservatives are so angry. Read this.

The problem stems from GW Bush. Only in protecting us from terror has he been effective. Like McCain he has been unwilling or unable to use his bully pulpit. Fair or not, he will be remembered for the largest Government take-over of private industry ever. He declined to play politics (admirable but stupid for the long-term success of the Party). Mark my words, GW Bush will go down in history as a rather ineffectual President. Hoover took the hit for the depression. Historians and economists mostly agree the steps he initiated would have brought us from the depression sooner. FDR gave us the New Deal, and we are still paying for it today. Hoover gets the blame, the same will be true of GW Bush.

What do I expect? More than one third of Americans do not pay taxes. Few Americans have the economic understanding that businesses pass their costs to consumers. Too many are truly ignorant of their candidate's positions. The media overwhelmingly supports one candidate. We get what we deserve and hope we can hold on for two or four years and make it right.

America meet your President. You have met him before. He will tax businesses and institute an unworkable energy policy. He will open dialogue with our enemies and refuse to engage them with force when necessary. Prepare for stagnant business growth and runaway interest rates. Look for double digit inflation as the dollar falls further. You will take the blame as Americans, because the Government is never wrong. You will be told to just put on a sweater during the cold winter. His inexperience will show at every crisis. The Nation will bear the scorn of the world and our enemies will grow stronger. Military budgets will be cut as welfare grows. America meet your President, we have lived through him already:

President Jimmy Carter Barrack Obama.

On the bright side, Carter brought us Reagan.
