My mother has an abdominal aortic aneurism. She had a stent installed a few years ago in a life-saving emergency operation. It was discovered recently that the aneurism had grown and the old stent had slipped. A new operation was in order.
She spent 7-1/2 hours under the knife yesterday. Stents were added to her renal arteries as well. There were a couple of complications, none life threatening. The details are not important in this forum. She is doing fine and I appreciate your prayers.
In the meantime it is supposed to be hot this weekend. I slipped off and grabbed some donuts this morning. Tomorrow is. my anniversary. There, I crammed as many random facts into one paragraph as I could this morning.
