My mom always dressed in style. Meaning mini-skirts and boots, etc. When she was working in the yard, it was a bikini and boots (weed eating is hard on the shins and calfs without). As a note, Mom was built like the the proverbial 'brick house'. We lived out in the country.
The weed eater was broken for a while and one day when my mom was getting the mail, one of the guys from the local farm co-op stopped.
He said "Ms. (MC's Mom), me and guys down at the co-op noticed you haven't been working in your yard lately and we was wantin' to make sure you weren't feelin' poorly". This song reminds me of her even though she never took on the PTA.
