It is another fake holiday like Valentine's Day, Halloween, Kwanza and MLK Day.
Drunken Irish -- and especially fake Irish -- can kiss my ass.
Green Beer is not natural, it falls in the same category as blue food. It should not be consumed.

I was telling someone the other day that I don't remember a single time, in my adult life, that I did anything to celebrate St. Pat's Day.
Supposedly he rid Eire of snakes, right? Isn't that the lore this fake holiday is based upon? Well, WTF did he ever do for the U.S. and why is he celebrated here?
Besides, like you said, green beer is just WRONG!
Now if he'd come and rid our Congress of its snakes, maybe I'd change my mind.
