Voices carry

Yesterday was a gorgeous day, highs in the upper 70s and low humidity. I worked.

I find myself up early this morning. You don’t care. I really do not either.

We are continuing our instrumentals week with a little Santana from Woodstock.why not? Carlos and the boys were rocking some Latin beats. You don’t suppose any of those guys were high do you?

When Santana played at Woodstock, they were mostly unknown. Woodstock catapulted the act to fame. Soul Sacrifice became one of the highlights of the subsequent Woodstock movie and soundtrack.

Belated birthday greetings.
Your music sure doesn't match your views

What music one likes doesn't define one's views, or even necessarily go along with them. Music is either enjoyable for its own sake, or it isn't.

Anonymouse doesn't get that, but that's no surprise.

Barbra Streisand has an "instrument" for a voice. I love her artistry.
She's an idiot intellectually and I hate her politics.
But she can be "The Wind Beneath My Wings".

Laugh mouse,

I’m not sure what your comment even means.

Are you so narrow-minded to believe that a conservative cannot appreciate art? Is music and literature and such only for the “liberal” minded?

I play Soul Sacrifice, just the music, not the video, when my art students are especially lethargic. Perks ‘me up every time.
