A wrong-headed policy

I think I’ll run for mayor of Mudsock. The property tax issue needs adjusted. For one thing, the poor minority neighborhoods need more services so we should shift the tax burden to those neighborhoods.

Yes, that is racist as hell. Even typing it makes me ill.

What is the difference when the mayoral candidate for New York City says  he wants to “shift the tax burden to richer and whiter neighborhoods.”?

Racism is wrong no matter what color of skin is being targeted.

What if those neighborhoods identify as black?

And yet that’s what the majority voted for. Just like for Trump and his policies. Goose, gander, etc.

Sure and I can sound the alarm, just as some people choose to do regarding Trump.

I’m not sure what your beef is?

Since you don’t live in NYC, I don’t know why you’re sounding an alarm; this doesn’t affect you at all and never will. Admit it; you’re just complaining. Nothing wrong with that, but be honest about it.

The liberal "utopias" need to stop trying to export their crazy. The rest of us are SICK of footing the bill.

Show of hands: Anyone planning a nice trip to Chicago, New York City, Los Angeles?

This is exactly what they want. Everyone tilting at windmills and bickering about race, equity, blah blah BLAH ALREADY. It distracts us from what they're really up to, all the time.

I'm pretty sure there are rich and poor in every race.

It's really about pretending to be someone's savior in order to gain and/or hold power.
