Rick Davies of Supertramp has passed away. The greats of classic rock are dying off.
I saw Supertramp in maybe ‘82 on the last tour before Rodger Hudson left the band.
Update: the concert was September 13, 1983 at MSA in Indianapolis. You can find anything on the internet.

Got their first album sometime in the early 70s and it was a favorite with all who heard it.
Never understood the attraction. Not that great, if you ask me. Maybe had one song that was okay, two if I am feeling generous; the girls we spent time with liked them, but that's about it. I can remember an article in the local newspaper raving about them, and how talented they were. The writer said that they were proof that Led Zeppelin were on their way out, and that their singer was so much better than Robert Plant. Hmmm, . . . that didn't happen, . . .
