The floods of last weekend are creating havoc in u expected ways. Down on tbe Hamilton County-Marion County line a little bridge over a little creek collapsed under the flow of water.
Flood waters filled the little stream and raced toward a nearby quarry, cutting a new deeper channel that is lower in elevation to the river.
Meet gravity and physics. The little creek once flowed into the White River. Now the White River is trying to flow Into the gravel pit/quarry!
Expert say it is possible the entire flow of the river may dry up downstream as the river changes course temporarily.
I'm not by nature a rubbernecker, but I would pay to see that disaster.
Anyway there is lesson #3,796 that Mother Nature always wins. You assholes should never tried to give her that crappy margarine on her toast.
