My life in four short paragraphs

In Indiana you have to file a voucher each week to collect unemployment. You have exactly one week file for the previous week.  My “regular “ unemployment ran out at the end of March. The Covid relief bill provided an additional 13 weeks of benefits.

The State did not have the new extended benefit program in place until early May, but said it was retroactive to the week ending April 4th. They allowed that vouchers were not available, but would be in time.

I was finally able to file vouchers last weekend.

The ones older than one week have been rejected because I filed them late.

I am sorry you are having fun a hard time. In PA I have read our unemployment office is so out of date people aren't getting any money yet. Government, got to love them.

In my 45 year career, I've only filed for unemployment twice. I found it to be a degrading experience dealing with the government inefficiencies.

Government at its best. Well at least normal.
