I am confused

I continue to be amazed at the escalating war on the "Tea Party". How in the world is it racist to ask the Government to live within its means? How is it racist to want to keep my own hard-earned money? Why is it wrong to advocate for lower taxes, smaller Government and less regulation?

In what world does anyone claim that I "owe" my fellow man part of my wages? If  I do not want to support second third fourth generation of families on welfare, does that make me racist? How is believing in a smaller, less intrusive Government wrong?

I seriously invite any liberal, any Democrat, to show me the error of my ways. I am serious. I promise polite, debate.

I read comments to a despicable editorial in the Indy Star over the weekend (I refuse to link that hate-filled garbage) claiming that defending oneself against charges of racism was proof of racism! Was Clinton wanting a return to Jim Crow when he signed the Welfare Reform Acts?  After all, he was our first "black President". If members of Congress formed a caucus exclusively for whites would that be racist?  When members of Congress formed a caucus exclusively for blacks, it is not?  Is Allen West a racist?

Show me the error of my ways.

Thanks PRS for turning me on to Sunny.

Expect it to only get worse. It's obvious by now this is in the liberal's playbook for this election. And they haven't quite figured out yet that they are doing what they did in 2010 and the people told them loud and clear they weren't playing by that playbook.

If they keep it up, 2010 will look like a ripple in the water compared to the tsunami that 2012 will bring.

I have faith the American public are smarter than that.

It is becoming more and more obvious to me, the two factions in our system are no longer Republican and Democrat, but lives off taxes and pays taxes.

Yeah Dave. Flat tax or Fair Tax would fix that fast.

Since I actually want the things you mentioned (Tea Party platform planks) I support Ron Paul.
As to the whole "terrorist" thing, well...Only a fool builds a union bureaucracy designed to spy on and oppress the people, then hands it over to the enemy.
Incase you haven't clued in yet, "raaacist!!!"=anyone who doesn't fellate the 0bammunist, and unless you support Ron Paul, you're just going to wind up with another Establishment neocon ("Republican" Communist).

I don't understand the Tea Party equals terrorist thing either. That's crazy talk. Tea partiers as morons? Yeah, I can go with that. Inbred, ignorant, and sound-bite driven fools? Yeah, that works too. But terrorists? No effin way.

"Ignorant and inbred"

At least we don't plan to live off other people's work. At least we do not believe in tried and failed socialist ideaology. To paraphrase Einstein, trying the same thing over and over and expecting different results is lunacy. The pilgrims tried your progressive ideology and failed. The USSR and its socialist satilites are in the dustbin of history. The European economy is collapsing under the unsustainable weight of socialism. But you think it will work here? And I am the moron?

If offering a hand up, not a hand out, if asking to keep one's hard earned wages, if wanting a smaller, less intrusive Government is inbred ignorance -- then fire up the banjoes and play me some Deliverance. I am all in, Anony-mouse. And the good news -- a majority of Americans are with me on this one.
