Between Christmas and a predicted storm, the stores will be stripped bare by Thursday. Not only will the genpop be panic stricken of the prospect of snow and cold, grabbing every loaf of bread and carton of eggs in sight, but the late shoppers will be scrounging for the fixins’ for a Christmas dinner. It I’ll be a perfect storm of desperation. I hope I have all I need. Cool Whip will be worth its weight in gold by Saturday morning.
I think I have all the stuff I need, but you never know.

Got all my stuff last weekend and am planning on baking Friday and Saturday to keep warmth in the place. Merry Christmas to you and yours!
I generally don't believe the weather fear porn until it happens and 90% of the time, it's far,far less than we were told to expect.
I'd be thrilled to be snowed in for a week.....
Tommy mauled much sought-after lettuce I bought specifically for a dish, so I hope there is more tomorrow! We won't leave the house for three days as it is supposed to be frigid down here!
Sister is going Wed. to pick up the necessities to make her stuffed cabbage. She already made her bread and nut rolls and hid them in the freezer.
She has chemo scheduled for Friday but if the roads are ice covered like they're predicting, I'll call and get it re-scheduled.
Get the family to the basement and guard the potable water and beans from the neighbors!
